Across our two sites 1779 solar panels were installed, saving 109 tonnes of carbon each year and generating approximately 12% of our electricity, with the remainder all from renewable sources.
We continued to invest in our team, and for the first time we now have 300 people ‘moulding the future’ of Linecross, an increase of 7% in 2023. Linecross invested £3.3 million in new machines and facilities, including two new state-of-the-art vacuum-forming machines, polyurethane metering equipment for expansion of our bespoke 3D leather forming process and 3 further injection moulding machines.
Significant innovations were made in developing hybrid moulding NFPP materials, offering our customers the potential for up to 50% weight saving on future projects.
We ended the year on a high, launching our new website and brand, which reflect the next chapter of Linecross as we focus on innovation and investment to reach a turnover of £50 million by 2026.
